Scenic Laboratory
Course Description:
This course is designed to complement Theatre Company by providing a laboratory setting for students to learn and develop their skills in technical theatre which in turn will support the production component of the curriculum.

I took this Scenic Laboratory during Spring Semester 2017 with technical director Justin Smith. I learned how to safely use power tools in this course. Additionally, I learned a great deal about scenic painting while working on the set in this course for Southwestern University's production of In The Next Room. This set required the illusion of wood flooring and paneling, as well as wall paper.
